How do you decide a place is pet-friendly?
Every featured stay gets a PawScore from a published checklist: species and size limits, fees, where the animal sleeps, floors, outdoor access, and the neighborhood. A high score means those details are clear and thoughtful. It is not a guarantee that every pet will be a fit.
Do you only list places for dogs?
No. Cats are part of the catalog. Filter stays by dog or cat, and read the size limit before you request dates. Some homes are dog-only because of stairs, wildlife, or the building's own rule.
How do personalized recommendations work?
TailMatch uses the trip you describe — city, dates, species, size, and temperament — to rank stays that already meet the pet-friendliness standard. You can still browse the full list without an account.
